Ice (type): Difference between revisions

Defensively, the Ice-type is considered a very poor type. It is resistant only to itself, and is weak to four types. It makes up for this disadvantage mostly due to the fact that most Ice-types are dual-types. While the type is lacking in resistances, it is considered one of the best attacking types. It is particularly strong against {{type2|Dragon}}s, many of which are dual-types that sport a double weakness to Ice. They can also deal super-effective damage against the common {{type2|Grass}} and {{type2|Ground}}, along with the fairly common {{type2|Flying}} for good measure. Ice types generally have high special stats (mostly Special Defense, which helps them survive most Fire type attacks), as opposed to Rock and Steel types which have higher physical properties.
