Hiroshi (AG166)

Hiroshi is a very minor one-time character in the Pokémon anime who appeared in the episode Curbing the Crimson Tide!. He was unnamed in the English dub.

Hiroshi
He is shown to be very brave and has an inability to back down from a challenge, and accepts Red Lightning's challenge to a Pokémon battle despite his friends' warnings. He battled Red Lightning with his Poliwag and lost, and was disgusted and sad when Red Lightning drew on Poliwag's face.
When he takes Poliwag to the Pokémon Center, he runs into Ash and his friends and explains to them who Red Lightning is, which causes them to want to challenge and defeat it.

| Poliwag was sent out to battle Red Lightning. Even though Poliwag tried its hardest, Red Lightning's speed was too much to handle and was defeated. Afterwards, it was given markings on its face (Similar to what the recurring Jigglypuff did after the audience fell asleep).
Poliwag's known moves are Water Gun and Water Pulse. | ||
