'''Gym Cups''' (Japanese: '''ジムカップ''' ''Gym Cup'') are a type of competition in [[Pokémon Duel]] in which figures of certain [[type]]s gain special gym effects. Figures whose type matches the main theme of the Gym Cup with {{mp}}0, 1, or 2 gain 1 MP and figures of a certain type which is {{DL|Type|Type_effectiveness|super effective}} against the theme type in the [[core series]] games have their White and Gold Attacks deal +20 damage. Players can set a deck to be used in Gym Cups much like they can set one for regular League Matches. The Gym Cup screen can be accessed through a button on the regular screen and contains another button to return there. By winning Gym Cup duels, the player can climb a point ladder to gain achievement rewards. In addition to the notable rewards listed below, these also include various enhancement figures as well as gems. [[Trophy (Duel)|Trophies]] are also awarded for completing certain requirements.
