The Glacidea Flower (Japanese: グラシデアの) is a key item used in Pokémon Platinum to change Shaymin between its Land and Sky Formes. The flower is native to Glacidea, hence its name. It is received in Floaroma Town, although it is unknown if it is available at a certain point in the game or not. This item cannot be used at night or when Shaymin is frozen. Bouquets of these flowers are shown for giving thanks or gratitude, and they also look like Shaymin.

This screenshot shows a comparison between a Shaymin and a bouquet of Glacidea Flowers. Shaymin's white body and paws resemble the white cloth in the basket and how it is folded; the flowers on its head and the extra ones it had sprouted on its back, which happens if a Shaymin is content, resemble the flowers nestled in the bouquet; and lastly the fluffy coat of fur and yellow seeds on its back resembles the grass, seeds and leaves of the bouquet.

In the anime

In the movie Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet: Shaymin, a character named Leila owns a Glacidea Flower bouquet, which has the same purpose as it does in Platinum. During the movie, some pollen from the bouquet scatters over Shaymin's body and it unintentionally begins to glow and transform.
