Trivia

Origin

It seems to be based on a crystal formation.

Name origin

Gigalith's English and Japanese names may have been derived from gigas, a term used to describe a race of earth-born giants in Greek mythology, and the Greek word lithos meaning "stone," used as the suffix -lith in English. It could also be derived from Goliath. The Japanese name may also be derived from "Gaia", the Greek goddess personifying the Earth.
