The GO Transporter is a feature in Pokémon GO that allows the player to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME. It was made available on November 10, 2020.

The GO Transporter in Pokémon GO

The GO Transporter is one way only, so Pokémon to HOME cannot be sent back to GO. Pokémon transferred via the GO Transporter also cannot be sent to Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.

Using the GO Transporter can also unlock the Mystery Box.

Restrictions

A Pokémon from GO may only be transferred to HOME if the receiving HOME account has that Pokémon's species registered in the Pokédex. The player also cannot transfer a Pokémon that is currently set as a favorite, deployed into a Gym, or the current Buddy Pokémon.

In addition, the following Pokémon cannot be sent to HOME:

GO Transporter Energy

GO Transporter Energy is required for each Pokémon that is transferred. The GO Transporter can store 10,000 GO Transporter Energy at one time, and it automatically recharges 60 GO Transporter Energy per hour. As such, it takes approximately 7 days to fully recharge a GO Transporter with zero Energy. Players can also pay PokéCoins ( 1 for 10 Energy) to instantly and fully recharge the GO Transporter.

The cost required by the GO Transporter depends on several factors: its CP, whether it is Legendary or Mythical, and whether it is Shiny. All costs are capped at 10,000.

Costs Normal Legendary Mythical
Base 10 1,000 2,000
Shiny 1,990 9,000 8,000
CP 1,001 - 2,000 100 300 500
2,000+ 300 500 700
Max cost 2,300 10,000 10,000

Conversion

Pokémon transferred via the GO Transporter will have its game data converted the same way as it was done in the GO Park. However, rather than having to recapture the Pokémon, the Pokémon will already be contained in the same Poké Ball it had in GO.
