The Fluffy Tail (Japanese: エネコのシッポ Eneco's Tail) is an item introduced in Generation III. It can be used to escape from a battle with a wild Pokémon.

Effect

When used from the Bag during a battle with a wild Pokémon, it allows the player to escape instantly regardless of any factors that would otherwise prevent escape.

In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, it cannot be used to escape from wild Pokémon at Poké Spots.

In Pokémon UNITE, the Fluffy Tail inflicts a debuff on a wild Pokémon for 3s. It prevents them from attacking and caused direct damage to trigger an additional hit equal to 100% of Attack + 60% of Sp. Attack + 10 * (Level - 1) + 100; the additional hit has a 0.5s cooldown.
