A '''Firebreather''' (Japanese: '''ひふきやろう''' ''Fire-breathing Guy'') is a type of [[Pokémon Trainer]] that first debuted in the [[Generation II]] games. In [[Generation II]], they were depicted as overweight clowns spewing out flames, while {{2v2|HeartGold|SoulSilver}} redesigned them and they now wear clothing designed after {{p|Magmar}}.

They specialize in {{type|Fire}} Pokémon. They may, however, also use {{type|Poison}} Pokémon that produce smoke, like {{p|Koffing}} and {{p|Weezing}}. In [[Pokémon Stadium 2]], they specialize in Pokémon that know {{m|Sunny Day}}.
