The Fates Collide Prerelease Kit is a special product given to participants at the start of Prerelease Tournaments for the Fates Collide expansion. Prerelease Tournaments for the Fates Collide expansion were held on the two weekends prior to the release of the expansion, on April 23-24, and April 30 - May 1, 2016. Each Kit contains a random set of predetermined cards designed to enhance the experience of the Limited format tournament that follows.

Included in each Prerelease Kit is a 23-card Evolution pack that includes one of the four specially stamped Prerelease cards for the expansion, as well as four booster packs. The Prerelease cards for the Fates Collide expansion are Moltres, White Kyurem, Zygarde, and Tyranitar, with the four different groups of possible Pokémon cards being based on their four types: Fire-type, Water-type, Fighting-type, or Darkness-type.

The Fates Collide Prerelease Kits provided one exclusive Non Holofoil card which was only released as Holofoil in Fates Collide booster packs: Delphox. This Non Holo Delphox would later be obtainable in the Sky Guardian Theme Deck.
