Entry Pack '08 (TCG): Difference between revisions

The kits, much like the original {{TCG|Entry Pack}} released alongside {{TCG|Space-Time Creation}}, consist of {{TCG|Half deck}}s based on the [[Generation IV]] [[Starter Pokémon|starters]] and their evolutions: {{p|Torterra}}, {{p|Infernape}} and {{p|Empoleon}}. The Entry Pack '08 DX also contains an additional {{p|Raichu}} {{TCG|Half deck}}. Unlike the original however, all 30 Pokémon cards available in the Half decks were brand-new. A new [[Supporter card]], {{TCG|Mom's Kindness}}, also debuted as part of the kits. All but twelve of the cards (six [[Trainer card]]s and the six basic [[Energy card]]s) were eventually released in {{TCG|Majestic Dawn}}, alongside the remaining cards from [[Moonlit Pursuit]] and [[Dawn Dash]] (those which were not released in {{TCG|Secret Wonders}} or {{TCG|Great Encounters}}).

Like other deck kits, both Entry Packs also include a rulebook, {{DL|Glossary (TCG)|Damage|damage counters}}, {{TCG|Special Conditions|status counters}}, a {{TCG|Coin|custom coin}}. Both versions also come with a {{DL|Glossary (TCG)|Field|playmat}} and demonstrative DVD. The standard Entry Pack '08 also comes with a compact how-to guide; the Entry Pack '08 DX comes with a more detailed beginner's guide, stickers, and box for storing additional counters.
