The '''EX Plaza''' (Japanese: '''エクストラエリア''' ''Extra Area'') is a mode in [[Pokémon Masters EX]] that allows players to complete co-op battles called EX Challenges. These battles reward the player with {{DL|Gear (Masters)|List of gear-upgrade items|gear-upgrade items}} and can be completed by teaming up with other players online or by creating a team with three sets of three Pokémon. EX Challenges come in Hard and Very Hard difficulties.

Prior to update 1.12.0, EX Challenges were a part of the [[training area]].
