Drifblim (Japanese: フワライド Fuwaride) is a dual-type Ghost/Flying Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Drifblim seems to be a living hot air balloon. Its once black eyes are now red and set far apart. It has four limbs which may be twitched to act as rudders, while its bottom is red and looks torn. It has grooves running down the body. The puff on the top of its head seems small compared to its whole body. Like Drifloon, it has a yellow "X" on its face and (as seen in Pokémon Adventures and Pokémon Battle Revolution) a little mouth on it.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Unlike Drifloon, Drifblim can be used for transportation, having the strength to lift people. Unfortunately, like a real hot-air balloon, it goes with the winds, and as such, one cannot control its trajectory.

Trivia
- Drifblim has the highest HP stat of all Flying- and is tied with Giratina for the highest HP for all Template:Type2 Pokémon.
- Drifblim is the only Pokémon that has a base stat total of 498.
- Drifblim along with its pre-evolution Drifloon are the only Ghost-types that are immune to Template:Type2 attacks that do not have Levitate as their ability (due to their secondary type).
- Considering only types, Drifblim and Drifloon are the Pokémon with the most immunities, with three (to Normal, Fighting, and Ground); they are tied with Sableye and Spiritomb, who are immune to Normal-, Fighting-, and Psychic-type moves.
Origin
Drifblim is based on a hot air balloon.
Name origin
Its name is derived from drift and blimp. Drifblim's Japanese name may be derived from 付和雷同 fuwaraidō, the Japanese word meaning to follow others blindly. It could also be a combination of fuga (Latin for flight) and ride. It also may be derived from ふわふわ fuwa fuwa, meaning soft, fluffy, and light, or an onomatopoeia for floating, 風船 fūsen, balloon, and ride.
