This card was released as a SWSH Black Star Promo with artwork by N-DESIGN Inc. and was available in the Deoxys VMAX & VSTAR Battle Box from October 14, 2022. In Japan, it was available in the Deoxys VSTAR & VMAX High-Class Deck. It was reprinted as a Galarian Gallery ultra rare card with artwork by Akira Komayama in the special Crown Zenith expansion, first released in the Japanese VSTAR Universe subset.

This was the first card in the TCG to depict a Dynamaxed Pokémon that cannot Dynamax in the Pokémon games, as Deoxys is not compatible with Pokémon Sword and Shield. The Crown Zenith print of this card was featured in the Illust Story IS51, The Universe Won't Leave Me Alone.

This card features Deoxys in its Defense Forme.
