Dauntless Shield (Japanese: ふくつのたて Fortitude Shield) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Zamazenta.

Dauntless Shield raises the Defense stat of the Pokémon with this Ability by one stage when it enters the battle.

Generation IX

Dauntless Shield only activates once per battle.

Outside of battle

Dauntless Shield has no effect outside of battle.
