Cotton Down (Japanese: わたげ Cotton Down) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Gossifleur and Eldegoss.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a damaging move, the Speed of the attacking Pokémon is decreased by one stage.

If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a multi-strike move (such as Fury Swipes), each hit activates this Ability.
