Conley (Japanese: ウッデート Woodate) is a character of the day who appeared in a flashback in Celebrating the Hero's Comet!.

Conley

Conley was mentioned by Alexa in a book that was shown to Ash and his friends. Many years ago, a group of Pokémon were attacking some islanders. Conley arrived from across the sea to lure them to the top of the mountain, where a comet came by. As he had the ability to determine when exactly the comet was going to pass by, the Pokémon respected him and peace was restored to the island.

Trainers from far and wide came on the island to battle Conley and rumors about him caused Conley to stay on the island. A battle colosseum was created in order for him to conduct his Pokémon battles. Afterwards, a statue of Conley was created to remember him. The comet that Conley predicted and came by once in a while was named in his honor.

  • As Conley had a Pokémon battle with many Trainers, he was shown to have some Pokémon, but none of them are known.
