Chingling (Japanese: リーシャン Lisyan) is a Psychic-type baby Pokémon.
It evolves into Chimecho when leveled up with high friendship during the night.
Biology
Physiology
Chingling looks like a yellow bell with small, round limbs, and an opening representing a mouth. It also has two red and white tassels. Inside its body is a red orb that creates its cry when it is agitated, much like a real bell.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
It can deafen foes by emitting high-frequency cries.
Behavior
Chingling moves with a flouncing hop. When Chingling hops, the orb in its mouth bounces all over and makes a ringing sound. It emits high-frequency cries that people cannot hear, and once it starts, it can cry for a long time.

Minor appearances
Chingling first appeared in the tenth movie, The Rise of Darkrai.
A Chingling appeared in Battling a Cute Drama! under the ownership of Marilyn.
A Chingling belonging to a Coordinator appeared in Yes in Dee Dee, It's Dawn!. It was used along with a Chimecho for the Double Performance required during the Daybreak Contest.
A Chingling made a brief cameo in SS024, outside Professor Rowan's lab.

In Pokémon Adventures, a Chingling belonging to the Advanced level Grunt of Team Galactic appeared in Stunning Staravia & Stinky Skuntank I. It has an unusually threatening face, and powerful sound abilities to match.
In the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure! manga
Chingling makes a cameo appearance being captured by Hareta at the start of the special chapter The Tale of Hareta and Shaymin.

Origin
Chingling is based on a jingle bell. The red and white rope is based on a rope found on bells used at Shinto shrines.
Name origin
Chingling may derive from the onomatopoeia for a ringing bell and sounds somewhat similar to jingling. It may also derive from youngling.
Lisyan may be a combination of 鈴 rin (bell), りんりん rinrin (onomatopoeia for chiming), and しゃんしゃん shanshan (onomatopoeia for bell ringing). It may also be a play on listen
