Release information

This Tretta was awarded as the main prize at each Charizard Challenge Cup event held at the 39th Next Generation World Hobby Fair during winter 2014. The World Hobby Fair took place at the Nagoya Dome, Nagoya on January 19, 2014; at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on January 25 and 26, 2014; at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome, Fukuoka on February 2, 2014; and at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Osaka on February 9, 2014. It was awarded again in the same manner at several later events. Details of these events are as follows:

  • At the Kids Game Festa in Iias, held at Iias Sapporo, Sapporo on March 15 and 16, 2014.
  • At the Kids Game Festa in Space World, held at Space World, Kyushu on March 16, 2014.
  • Pokémon Tretta event held at Pokémon Centers nationwide in Japan on days between April 26 and May 2, 2014 as part of Pokémon Center Golden Week.
  • Charizard Mega Battle venues, which were held at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on May 3 and 4, 2014, and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on May 17 and 18, 2014. From this event onwards, the top 20 scorers earned a special 'WINNER' seal, with the top three scorers also earning a personalized certificate.
  • CoroCoro Hobby Festa in Suzuka, held at Suzuka Circuit, Suzuka on May 6, 2014.
  • At the 2014 Tokyo Toy Show, held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on June 14 and 15, 2014. All participants at this event were also given one of five possible Mega Stones at random to be used with the interactive Pokémon Mega Ring. The five stones available were Absolite, Lucarionite, Charizardite Y, Charizardite X, and Garchompite.

Players who managed to defeat Charizard at these events were awarded this Tretta. Players who did not manage to defeat Charizard were instead awarded a Darumaka Tretta.

This Tretta was available again as part of the Pokémon Tretta Ultimate Series 1 Get Score Trial, which challenged players to achieve a high score of 70,000 or more. This was held at the following locations:

  • At Space World, Kitakyushu on April 4, 2015.
  • At the Makomanai Ice Arena, Sapporo on April 11 and 12, 2015.
  • As part of the USUI Kids Expo, held at the USUI department store, Fukushima between May 2 and May 6, 2015.
  • At three venues hosting the Pokémon Trading Card Game Rayquaza Mega Battle: Nagoya Trade & Industry Center, Nagoya on May 5, 2015; at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on May 9 and 10, 2015; and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on May 31, 2015.
  • At the 2015 Tokyo Toy Show, held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on June 20 and 21, 2015.
  • As part of the Pokémon Tretta Ultimate Challenge Tour, held at ÆON Mall Asahikawa West, Hokkaido on August 1, 2015; at iias Sapporo, Hokkaido on August 2, 2015; at Seven Town Azusawa, Itabashi, Tokyo on August 9, 2015; at ÆON Mall Kashiihama, Fukuoka on August 15, 2015; at ÆON Mall Fukuoka on August 16, 2015; at Shopping Plaza Kamagaya, Chiba on August 23, 2015; at Aspia Akashi, Hyōgo on August 29, 2015; and at Ito-Yokado Ario, Yao, Osaka on August 30, 2015.

It was also available as part of the Trophy Pokémon Tretta Present Campaign, in which customers purchasing eligible Pokémon Tretta goods from participating Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores received 1 of 6 Trophy Tretta at random. The campaign ran from April 25, 2015 until May 6, 2015.
