Champion (Trainer class): Difference between revisions

*As of {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}, all the Champions (excluding Wallace) own at at least one  [[pseudo-legendary]] Pokémon at some point in their respective games, and have them all amongst themselves (Lance has {{p|Dragonite}}, {{p|Salamence}}, and {{p|Garchomp}} in the rematch against him in HeartGold and SoulSilver, Steven has a {{p|Metagross}} in {{game|Ruby and Sapphire|s}}, Blue has a {{p|Tyranitar}} in the rematch against him in {{game|FireRed and LeafGreen|s}} and Cynthia has a Garchomp in {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}).

* In HeartGold and SoulSilver, all Champions from [[paired versions]] appear. Blue, the Champion from {{game|Red and Green|s}}, is the [[Viridian Gym|Viridian]] [[Gym Leader]], Lance from {{game|Gold and Silver|s}} is of course the current Indigo Plateau Champion, Steven from {{game|Ruby and Sapphire|s}} alerts the player to {{p|Latias}}/{{p|Latios}}'s roaming and later gives the player a [[Hoenn]] [[starter Pokémon|starter]], and Cynthia from {{game|Diamond and Pearl|s}} appears in the [[Sinjoh Ruins]]. Only [[Wallace]] does not appear; however, he was Champion only in a third version ({{v2|Emerald}}), while all others aside from Steven were Champions in all games of their region.
