 In the same episode it was revealed Kotetsu would face Bianca in the second round, in a two-on-two battle. Kotetsu started with his Samurott against Bianca's {{p|Escavalier}}. The Cavalry Pokémon was defeated rather quickly, after which Bianca sent out, much to everyone's shock, her Emboar. After withstanding super effective {{m|Aqua Jet}} and {{m|Hydro Cannon}}, however, Emboar used {{m|Attract}} on Samurott, causing it to become infatuated and soon defeated. Next Kotetsu chose to use Riolu, which Bianca thought to be very cute. Despite the notable size difference, Riolu was able to defeat the Mega Fire Pig Pokémon, causing Bianca to be eliminated from the Conference.
