While Bulbasaur has a nickname in Japanese, she was not given one in the English translations of the manga. In the Pokémon File at the end of {{Vol|Magical Pokémon Journey|4}}, she is identified as "Bulba", but in all of the manga chapters, she is simply named "Bulbasaur".
