During this fight, Regirock started off delivering a powerful [[Superpower]] attack that left [[Emerald's Sceptile]] struggling, and right after the tyke had Sceptile attempt a [[Leech Seed]], Regirock used [[Explosion]] and knocked both of them out. Just as Emerald had the Hitmonchan he borrowed from {{adv|Crystal}} deliver a finishing blow on Registeel with a powerful [[Sky Uppercut]] following a barrage of [[Fire Punch]]es, Brandon reveals that he had the massive golem use [[Toxic]] out the get-go, causing Hitmonchan to faint. With just one Pokémon left on either side and Regice reigning supreme, it seemed Brandon had the battle won, but Emerald then reveals a secret of his own, and Sceptile is revitalized by a [[Revive]], allowing it to finish Regice with a surprise [[Iron Tail]] from behind. The same golem was then seen in the first confrontation against [[Guile Hideout]].
