Trivia

  • Buffalon is the only bovine Pokémon that is not mono-gender, as Tauros is only male and Miltank is only female.

Origin

Buffalon is based on a buffalo; specifically, an American Bison. However, the horns more closely resemble those of the African Water Buffalo. The fur on its head resembles an afro.

Name origin

Its name is derived from バッファロー buffalo, アフロ afro and bison.
