A Boss Trainer (Japanese: ボストレーナー Boss Trainer) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation V games Pokémon Black and White 2. They are the leaders of each section of Black Tower (in Black 2) or White Treehollow (in White 2).
Boss Trainers do not have fixed sprites like most other Trainer classes, instead appearing as other classes with the Boss Trainer title. One notable Boss Trainer is Banjirou, Alder's grandson, who is the leader of the tenth and final section of the facility.
