Following on {{an|Brock}}'s insistence, {{ashfr|the group}} arrived in Bonitaville and met up with [[Suzie]], from which Brock got his {{TP|Brock|Vulpix}}. Brock and Suzie decided to compete in the Pokémon Beauty Contest as a couple with Vulpix. Another {{tc|Pokémon Breeder}} and a friend of Suzie's, [[Zane]], also entered the contest with his {{p|Ninetales}}. After the contest, Brock returned Vulpix to Suzie.
