A '''Battle Starter''' is a combination starter set from the {{TFG|Next Quest}} expansion of the [[Pokémon Trading Figure Game]].  It is a combination of the figures found in {{TFG|Flamethrower}} and {{TFG|Riptide}}.

As a starter set, it contains nine figures with bases, including six {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}, two [[Pokémon Trainer]]s and one Referee, a two-sided playmat with a green 6-on-6 arena on one side and an orange 3-on-3 quick start arena on the other, a 2-sided collector's sheet with a how-to-play guide on one side and a figure checklist on the other, and a rulebook. Also included are a cloth version of the green 6-on-6 arena and a complete set of the eight {{TFG|Trainer card}}s from the Next Quest expansion.
