One of her {{p|Bellossom}} lacked the confidence to do a complex flip move until a fight with {{TRT}} inspired her to finally execute it perfectly.

Bailey told them to do a 'Loop-de-Loop', but something went wrong and Bella came crashing down on Ash. It was then revealed that the Bellossom used to be able to perform the move but Bella was in a bit of a slump and couldn't quite get the hang of the 'Loop-de-Loop', making it sad. Then, in a battle with {{TRT}}, they were able to perform their moves to dodge {{TP|Jessie|Arbok}} and {{TP|James|Victreebel}} and put them to sleep with Sleep Powder. Later they teached {{AP|Pikachu}} and {{TP|Misty|Togepi}} dance moves. It was then revealed that Belle and Bella used to battle, but preferred to dance.

Later, they were captured along with other Pokémon by Team Rocket, but Pikachu was able to get them back down to the ground. After Belle and Bella were free, they performed a successful Loop-de-Loop and sent Team Rocket blasting off with 'Tornado Twister'. At the Pokémon Exhibition, Belle and Bella performed another successful Loop-de-Loop and got a standing ovation.
