The episode starts of with a recap of [[BW047|Crisis from the Underground Up!]] Then, the episode continues, with {{FB|Subway Boss|Ingo}} and {{FB|Subway Boss|Emmet}} finding out about all of the decoy trains that {{TRT}} has created. [[Iris]] accidentally helps [[Cilan]] figure out where the train will exit the subway. Meanwhile, [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] gets smart, and is able to get [[Ash's Snivy|Snivy]] out of her [[Poké Ball]], who then releases [[Iris's Excadrill|Excadrill]] from his Poké Ball and frees Pikachu and [[Iris's Axew|Axew]] from their traps.
