Appendix:Pokémon Rumble Blast walkthrough/Section 6

Once you defeat the Dark Rust, you will be in Axle Town. The Pikachu from the town will greet you at first, then he will introduce you to a new area called the World Axle - Upper Levels. Once this is complete, you will start the post story mode. In post story mode, the following changes will appear;

  • Pokémon with the (post-ending) tag will appear throughout the areas. For more, see the previous walkthroughs.
  • The Fountains in each town will be flowing.
  • You will have a roughly 5% chance of battling a random Legendary Pokémon instead of the boss in areas. Some of them have perquisites for them to appear. Each Legendary Pokémon has a 100% recruit rate and will always tip over.

Toy Town

After defeating the Dark Rust, you can enter Toy Town again to get a special bonus. When you enter there, the resident Lillipup will congratulate you and give you the Glowdrop Vial which recovers all you Pokémon upon finishing an area/Battle Royale/Team Battle. But however, Rusty Pokémon still have to be recovered by fountains.

World Axle - Upper Levels

After defeating the Dark Rust, a new elevator will open in the westernmost corner of Axle town, in front of the release point. Ride on it and you will be in the Upper Levels. When you first enter there you will be greeted by the Guards, a Dragonite and a Metagross. They will introduce you to the area. After this you will be free to explore. To the left is the Battle Royales, while to the right is the Team Battles. In the Middle is a giant green globe where you can raise the World Rank by paying LOTS of money.

Strategy
This is where the REAL hard part of the game starts, and if you challenge it with something that has less than 3000 power level (Not even 2900!) You will basically struggle to scratch anything here.

They key is DO NOT GET HIT! Everything in here can do a lot of damage, especially Chandelure's Inferno and Volcarona's Fiery Dance, which can burn you,Which weakens you and making you more vunerable from getting killed. One example of a good Pokémon is a Groudon with Earthquake or Dig with Protect, which is super-effective against most Pokémon here, Especially against Reshiram and Zekrom.Garchomp is also a good alternative as well.

NOTE:You have to complete both Battle Royale EX-5 and Team Battle EX-5 in order to unlock Battle Royale EX-6 and Team Battle EX-6.

Battle Royale EX-6

Strategy
The last Battle Royale in the game, and thus the most difficult. Legendary Pokémon from the first 4 generations appear, and a lot of them can cause special conditions such as Freeze and Burn. Watch out for Uxie and Azelf's Future Sight attacks, as the landing point is impossible to predict. You should have more than 80 seconds left when the Deoxys Appear, as The Defense forme can be hard to take down. When Mewtwo appears, you should have at least 2 of the Deoxys down. Mewtwo's attacks can easily kill you in one hit, but unlike this game's predessecor it has a blindspot; it's very behind, so use Protect and look at where its head is facing, go behind, and attack. This isn't easy, as Mewtwo's attack's hitbox is quite large, it has a lot of HP, and the size of the 3DS screen is quite small. As all of the rival's are Psychic-type, Ghost-Type Pokémon like Giratina's origin forme are strongly recommended. If you had beaten Team Battle EX-6 first, Dark or Ghost-type Arceus will serve you well.

Strategy
The first 3 chambers are pretty much easy, as they can be defeated even by Pokémon with a power level at the 2900s. But however at the 4th panel the difficulty Raises Dramatically, as you have both Reshiram and Zekrom to fight. and there are very few enemy Pokémon in chambers 1-3, so you cannot use Hyper mode to defeat both bosses. So use Hyper mode to quickly wear down one first, most preferably Zekrom, as it can kill all 3 Pokémon in 1 hit. When all Windup Energy is used up, use Protect to dodge attacks and Revive dead teammates as fast as possible. Just make sure you are in full health after defeating Landorus, or you can be in big trouble.

NOTE:You have to complete both Battle Royale EX-5 and Team Battle EX-5 in order to unlock Battle Royale EX-6 and Team Battle EX-6.

Strategy
You should have no problem defeating the first 2 chambers, as the bosses will eventually go down after concentrated firepower, but however, the Kyurem in the third chamber can pose a great threat, as it's wide range Glaciate can easily kill your teamates in one hit, and it will probably even kill you if you don't have Protect. But don't get lulled into using Hyper Mode; you need it for later. The Arceus in the 4th chamber can use Judgment which is an attack that can kill your team in a few hits. But this is not the worst thing; the worst thing is it is a tracking attack, which means it is near-impossible to avoid, as your teamates can't use move B, this means they can die easily,so try to revive them as fast as possible. Fight Arceus in Hyper Mode at all costs (make sure you use protect when it is about to attack, or you can die in hyper mode.), as you can barely even scratch arceus if you fight him normally. Make sure you kill it before Hyper Mode ends, or......

Additionally, Fighting-type Pokémon with high firepower such as Terrakion and Cobalion,(Not Virizion, as it's firepower is too low.), are mandatory for the team as the more powerful bosses in this level are weak to fighting.
