The Maniac's little brother will give you {{TM|28|Dig}}. Go inside the hole in the wall and all the way to the back of the cave for advice on where to find [[Fossil]]s. Just west of here is an old man and a {{p|Poochyena}}. Talk to him to get {{TM|05|Roar}}. Take on the {{pkmn|Trainer}} near the lake, then move south and battle a string of trainers.
