The large statue in the northeast corner of the city has a hidden {{DL|Plate|Draco Plate}}, an item that increases the power of {{type|Dragon}} moves and changes {{p|Arceus}} to the Dragon type. Located next to the [[Poké Mart]] are the [[Eterna Condominiums]]. On the first floor is the [[Name Rater]], who will let you change your Pokémon's nickname, as well as a boy called Norton, who will trade his {{p|Chatot}} for a {{p|Buizel}}. On the second floor, a woman will give you {{TM|67|Recycle}}. The [[Herb Shop]] is located east of Team Galactic's building, where you can buy healing herbs which lower your Pokémon's happiness but are far cheaper than most other equivalent healing items. It might be a good idea to buy some {{DL|Herbal medicine|Revival Herbs}}. [[Rad Rickshaw's Cycle Shop]] is located north of the Poké Mart. However, you won't be able to get the [[Bike]] right away as the owner has gone to deal with Team Galactic in their building, since they had kidnapped his {{p|Clefairy}}.

'''Make sure that your Pokémon are fully healed before entering.''' It is also recommended that you don't challenge the Gym unless your Pokémon are at about Level 20. Gardenia is a master of the {{type|Grass}}, so if you started with {{p|Chimchar}} this should be relatively easy. If not, try and raise a higher-leveled {{t|Flying}} or {{t|Bug}}-type Pokémon such as {{p|Kricketune}} or {{p|Staravia}}, or go east of Eterna to {{rt|211|Sinnoh}} to find a {{p|Ponyta}}.

The first Trainer is located by the Gym Leader's area (north of the entrance). You can find her in the first branch of trees that is slightly to the left, then moving south a little bit. The second one can be found by making your way down the left-most corridor, to the southwestern area that has a dead-end near the two rocks. The third is hiding behind the three small trees near the entrance to the room. And lastly, the final Trainer is in the very northeastern-most corner, which is accessible by taking the first right from the entrance all the way to the end. After defeating all four of them, Gardenia will appear in the northern area of the room.

Here you will see three more members. You won't have to face the one at the desk, but you can't avoid the others and will have to face them. Once you defeat both members head to the last floor, 4F.
