Agatha asks Ash whether he is there to challenge the Gym and Ash explains that he has already won a Badge from the Gym and had just placed eighth in the [[Hoenn League]]. Agatha and Scott are very impressed so Agatha asks Ash if he would like to have a Pokémon battle with her. Agatha says that she had faced two previous Trainers but she defeated them easily so she was looking for a much bigger challenge. Gengar tries to use another Shadow Ball but Pikachu jumps on top of it and then uses {{m|Iron Tail}} to hit Gengar, sending it to the ceiling.
