Cheers on Castaways Isle! (Japanese: ピカチュウ・ポッチャマ漂流記! Pikachu-Pochama Drifting Chronicle!) is the 112th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 578th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on January 29, 2009 and in the United States on June 27, 2009.
Synopsis
Template:Incomplete synopsis While riding a boat across Diablo's Ocean with Ash and his friends, en route to Chocovine Town, Pikachu and Piplup are kidnapped by Team Rocket inside the ship. They dive down way into the sea. However, a big whirlpool causes Pikachu and Piplup to fall apart from Team Rocket's ship. They find themselves on an island with no people. Meanwhile, Ash and his friends head towards the island with Officer Jenny. Pikachu and Piplup find Corphish and several Mantyke putting rocks around a stone (which is a Deoxys). Staravia and Buizel see them and go back to Ash to tell him where they are. Meanwhile, Team Rocket comes again to get Pikachu and Piplup, but when they are about to catch them, attacks and the plan fails. Pikachu and Piplup get caught again by a 'golden' hand as Deoxys had finally come alive to save them. Team Rocket blasts off after a battle; Deoxys heads into the aurora, and Ash and his friends head to Chocovine Town with Officer Jenny.
