Resist Feather

The Resist Feather (Japanese: ていこうのハネ Resistance Feather), known as Resist Wing prior to Generation VIII, is a type of medicine introduced in Generation V. It is a feather that slightly increases the Defense of a Pokémon.

Effect

When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, adds 1 Defense EV to the target Pokémon per use. It also increases the Pokémon's friendship a little.

The Resist Feather is consumed upon use and cannot be used in battle.

In Reunion Battles In Nimbasa!, a Resist Feather was included in the full set of feathers promised as a prize for winning the Club Battle tournament. In Club Battle Finale: A Hero's Outcome!, the set of feathers was won by Iris, who later sent them to the Village of Dragons.

In the Pokémon Adventures manga

In Mr. Perfect, Magician gave Blake a pack of wings he had requested from him. In Innocent Scientist, Blake revealed that he had given a Resist Wing and Rare Candy to his Dewott just before heading to battle Genesect, boosting his defenses just enough for him to be able to survive an Electric-type Techno Blast.
