Mario

Mario (Japanese:モブオ Mobuo) is a character of the day from the Pokémon anime who appeared in Dressed for Jess Success!. He is a Pokémon Coordinator.

Mario competed in the Lilypad Town Pokémon Contest to try to win the Ribbon with his Granbull. He passed through the Performance Stage but lost against Dawn and her Mamoswine in the quarter finals.

		Mario's Granbull went up against Dawn and her Mamoswine in the Battle Round of the Lilypad Contest. Although Granbull seemed powerful, it was unable to stand up to Mamoswine's newly learned Ice Shard and Hidden Power combination and was quickly knocked out. Granbull's only known move is Fire Fang.
