(Japanese: ホイーガ Hoiiga) is a dual-type Bug/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
It evolves from Fushide starting at level 22 and evolves into Pendora starting at level 30.
Biology
Physiology
Hoiiga is a grey, hard-shelled, curled tire-like Pokémon, with various spikes projecting out of the shell. Magenta rings adorn the various segments of its round body, with two especially long spikes or antennae-like extensions, as well as an extension on the opposite side of its body, banded with a darker shade of grey. The inner portion of its body is also dark grey. Its yellow eyes have pronounced grey eyelids.

Hoiiga may be based upon the Armadillidiidae family, or "pill bug," a crustacean that rolls up whenever it senses danger.
Name origin
Its name derives from ホイール hoīru, wheel.
