Pokémon Center New York (also known as Pokémon Center NY and abbreviated as PCNY) was a Pokémon Center store located in the Rockefeller Center in New York City. It was the first (and so far only) Pokémon Center store in the United States, when it opened on November 16, 2001.[1] The store closed in January 2005 to be refurbished into Nintendo World, which in turn was replaced in 2016 by Nintendo New York.
