Magma Armor (Ability)

Magma Armor (Japanese: マグマのよろい Magma Armor) is an ability that prevents freezing. Only 3 Pokémon have this ability. From Pokémon Emerald onwards, it also halves the number of steps it takes for an egg to hatch. Both the Pokémon with Magma Armor and the egg must be in the party in order for this to work. It was introduced in Generation III.
