Methods of evolution: Difference between revisions

A select few Pokémon evolve only when they are [[Trade|traded]]. The evolution starts immediately after the trade is completed, regardless of the method of trading used. However, sometimes there are additional conditions. Pokémon that evolve by trading are generally either originally fully evolved Pokémon or intended to be as strong as them (except for Clamperl), and their evolution either changes their concept completely (eg Scyther->Scizor) or gives slight boosts all around (Kadabra->Alakazam, Rhydon->Rhyperior).
