When the stones are united near a giant puprple crystal, Darkrai awakens. They eventually succeed in awakening Darkrai but their plans are put to a hault by the player. They also hypnotize Pokémon with these strange computer-type machines called Gigaremo units and it is the player's job to destroy the units and set the Pokémon free.
