Pokémon availability (Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!): Difference between revisions

Most species are catchable in Let's Go, Pikachu! (LGP) and Let's Go, Eevee! (LGE), but 22 require evolving the previous evolutionary stage. The species that require evolution include the 5 Kanto {{pkmn2|first partner}} evolutions ({{p|Ivysaur}}, {{p|Venusaur}}, {{p|Charmeleon}}, {{p|Wartortle}}, and {{p|Blastoise}}), the 4 Let's Go partner evolutions ({{p|Raichu}}, {{p|Vaporeon}}, {{p|Jolteon}}, and {{p|Flareon}}), 2 version exclusives ({{p|Arbok}} for LGE and {{p|Sandslash}} for LGP), the 4 [[Trade evolution]]s ({{p|Alakazam}}, {{p|Machamp}}, {{p|Golem}} and {{p|Gengar}}), the 2 fossil evolutions ({{p|Kabutops}} and {{p|Omastar}}), and 5 others ({{p|Wigglytuff}}, {{p|Parasect}}, {{p|Primeape}}, {{p|Hypno}} and {{p|Marowak}}). Additionally, {{p|Butterfree}} is not catchable in LGE and {{p|Beedrill}} is not catchable in LGP.

In total, Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! combined have 213 forms (211 compatible per version), which consists of the 186 Original, Alolan, and Mega evolved forms; 23 as a result of [[gender differences]] (for 209 Pokédex forms); and 2 [[Partner Pokémon (game)|partner forms]] with each of their gender differences.  

Each version has 16 [[Version-exclusive Pokémon#Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!|version-exclusive]] forms, with Let's Go, Pikachu! having 3 version exclusive gender differences ({{p|Gloom}}, {{p|Vileplume}}, and {{p|Scyther}}). Of the [[In-game trade#Pokémon:_Let's_Go,_Pikachu!_and_Let's_Go,_Eevee!|in-game trades]] and their evolutions, Alolan {{p|Sandshrew}}, {{p|Sandslash}}, {{p|Grimer}} and {{p|Muk}} are exclusive to Let's Go, Pikachu!, while Alolan {{p|Vulpix}}, {{p|Ninetales}}, {{p|Meowth}} and {{p|Persian}} are exclusive to Let's Go, Eevee!

All but 2 Pokémon, {{p|Lickitung}} and {{p|Mewtwo}}, can be obtained in-game at Level 50 or below. Both, along with {{p|Golduck}} (which is obtained below level 50 by evolving {{p|Psyduck}}), are exclusive to [[Cerulean Cave]]. Golduck and Lickitung can be caught at just Level 51, while Mewtwo is caught at Level 70. Although {{p|Dragonite}} evolves from {{p|Dragonair}} starting at Level 55, a Dragonite as low as Level 3 can be caught from a rare flying spawn.

Level 1 Pokémon cannot be obtained except via transferring from [[Pokémon GO]] (or [[Poké Ball Plus]] in the case of {{p|Mew}}). This is because no breeding is present in the game, and the fact the lowest level wild Pokémon, such as {{p|Pidgey}} and {{p|Rattata}}, are only encountered at Level 3 or above.

The availability of forms in order visited in Let's Go, Pikachu!{{Sup/7|P}} and Let's Go, Eevee!{{Sup/7|E}} is shown below, counting up to 188  forms (the total excluding gender differences) and including evolving Pokémon (trading the same Pokémon for trade evolutions):

In {{g|GO}}, as part of its [[Size and weight variation#Pokémon GO|size variation]] mechanic, XXS and XXL Pokémon each have a 1 in 250 chance to be generated. When one of these extreme-sized Pokémon is obtained and transferred into {{LGPE}}, both its height and weight scalar values are set to either 0 or 255, depending on whether it was initially XXS or XXL, respectively. This results in the specimen having the minimum or maximum possible in-game height and weight for its species (or form). In contrast, generation of both of these values for a native Pokémon in Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! has less than a 1 in 25 million chance to occur with the highest [[Catch Combo]]—albeit due to a lack of display precision, additional values may also give the minimum and maximum possible measurements depending on the Pokémon species/form.
