*Sableye is known for having both [[Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions|a ruby and a sapphire]] on its body. Its [[Alternate coloration|shiny]] form appears to have an [[Pokémon Emerald Version|emerald]] on the chest. It most likely has a connection to the three games of the [[Generation III|generation]] it debuted in.

*Since Sableye is one of the two Pokémon that do not have a weakness, hackers love to hack Sableye with {{a|Wonder Guard}}, with the other Pokémon being {{p|Spiritomb}}. Despite Wonder Guard protecting against all but super effective moves from hitting (effectively meaning none could), Sableye can still be affected by {{M|Will-O-Wisp}} and other {{status|Burn|burn}}- or {{status|Poison|poison}}-causing attacks. Another way of countering hacks such as this is by using the move {{m|Gastro Acid}} which eliminates the effect of the foe's ability, thus making the Pokémon vulnerable to non-super effective attacks. Pokémon like {{p|Cranidos}} and {{p|Rampardos}} will also cancel the Wonder Guard with the ability {{a|Mold Breaker}}.
