For the anime section, should movie appearances count for Pokémon who disobeyed their Trainers as the section for it is missing? There was Ash's Pikachu in ''[[M20|Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!]]'' who started off as disobedient towards Ash. == Gen 9 Outsider Mechanics ==
have there been any sources for this part, which was added by Jmvb?
"In Generation IX non-outsider Pokémon are treated as outsider Pokémon for this purpose if they have ever been traded, even if they are traded back to their Original Trainer."
because I tried trading a Wooper at Lv. 5 to a friend and immediately back yet even after reaching Level 22 it seems to consistently obey in the wild battles I am using for training.
Assuming the currently written formula still works, with a combined lv+cap of 42 the fraction that's resolved by Random/256 needs to be a bit smaller than 0,5 or more specifically 122/256 is where the check value gets above 20, so it should obey me less than half the time in theory.
so either something is not correct about this assumption, or what I think is more likely, is the fact it may go even deeper, e.g. that on a backtrade, the level you got it back is counted or whatever, no idea. |
