The gender difference in torchic relates to real-life "sex linking" that people use to tell which sex a chick is without having to use other harder methods, it's really common with chicken farmers because chickens are a bit difficult to figure out when they're young. Sex link examples range from chicks just having "one dark feather" (very very similar to torchic) or all the way to all the feathers colour changed. | |||
