::Coming at it purely from probability, that's one huge coincidence. Given that they could have used Bulbasaur (#1), or Pikachu (the mascot), it seems likely that they chose Electrode for a reason. When you also consider that any of the other 149 Pokemon would all fit perfectly well into the rhythm (except perhaps Seel, Jynx, and Muk), and yet they chose the Ball Pokemon with no otherwise interesting features, that's a bit much to dismiss with "When they were told 'Put these 150 words into a song-list of no specific order', I doubt the writer did even the lightest of research into the subject matter for the sake of making a stupid pun".
