It has been established that location-based Eeveelutions take precedence over those with other level-up requirements. My question is: would an Eevee with high friendship as well as 2 Affection hearts and a Fairy-type move always only attempt to evolve into Sylveon upon leveling up, or is there maybe a 50-50 chance that it might instead become Espeon or Umbreon (depending on time of day)? My guess is that it might only become Espeon or Umbreon if the criteria for Eevee to become Sylveon are not present because it would be the more readily changeable condition; making a Pokémon forget a move is easier to accomplish than dragging down its friendship rating, right?
