::::::Whether or not they're continuing with two sets of names, Bulbapedia's policy has always been that player character articles are named based on what the character is named when they appear as an NPC. Since the games aren't out yet, I think it's absurd to argue over what name to use until then, since literally nobody can be right because the games aren't out yet. :::::::Just wanted to say that while the American demo has the player character's names as "Xavier" and "Yvonne," the Japanese demo has the player's names as "エックス" (X/ekkusu) and "ワイ" (Y/wai). Which means that this argument with the name demo is arguing that Nate and Rosa's official names are Black2 and White2. The Japanese equivalents of Xavier and Yvonne are X and Y, and there's no reason to believe that those are the player character's "official" names any more than Ethan is named Soul and Lyra is named Heart.
