There is a slight resemblence, then again Lucario somewhat sounds like Edward. Maybe compare the 3 voices 4 voices of Prof. Lund, Prof. Ikorus, Lucario and Edward Elric. Though Elric sounds kinda like Lucario and vice versa, theres more of a similarity in professor Ikorus's voice to Lucario and Lund than there is with Edward, though that similarity is definately there.
