Route 18 is a mountain-like route littered with trainers, items, and wild Pokémon. The majority of the route, away from the coast, rests upon plateaus of varying heights. The player can reach the top of these plateaus via staircase. A Pokémon Ranger in the house will give the player a Larvesta egg. The female Ace Trainer in the same house will heal the player's Pokémon.
