A Blissey captured by {{adv|Crystal}} and lent to {{adv|Emerald}} for his [[Battle Pike|Pike]] challenge appeared in the [[Pokemon Adventures volume 27|27th volume]]. With its high Special Defense aided by a suitable nature served much use for the boy, and though it was eventually defeated, it was able to revitalize another borrowed Pokémon, a {{p|Rapidash}}, using {{m|Softboiled}}, with which the queen's {{p|Seviper}} was defeated by a devastating {{m|Overheat}}, winning him the match.
